Beauty blender If you're tired of using foundation brushes or fingers for applying your liquid foundation, then you must try beauty blenders. I've had one for a while but I didn't know how to properly use it. Just slightly dab your foundation on your skin with this sponge and you'll get that perfect airbrushed effect. Monthly Planner I seriously can't get organized if I don't have a special notebook to write everything down. I plan my whole week or month and makes it so much easier to check my exam and project dates. It's even convenient for birthdays, parties and such, basically plan your life and never worry about forgetting anything. Sushi Perhaps I got a lil' bit sushi obsessed but hey, at least it's healthy food. Sleep Easy App If you're like me and can't put your phone down and go to sleep on time, try this app. You set the timer (I usually set it for 20 minutes) and put you phone on your nightstand and listen to a relaxing voice. It makes me feel much better in the morning, because I don't exhaust my body to it's limit before sleep resulting in more refreshed mind and body in early mornings. Vampy lipstick It's finally fall and I've been wearing almost every day my dark red and deep plum lipcolours. My newest addition to my collection is Misslyn lipstick in shade 122 (bought:Muller for 40kn/4$)


Ronella's September Fav's Long-Sleeved Shirt Straight-cut shirt in woven fabric with a turn-down collar, breast pocket, long sleeves with a tab and button, short slits in the sides and a slightly longer back section. Perfect for these rainy days. (Bought: H&M, City Centre One East, Zagreb, 135 kn/20 $) Turtle neck Sweater September wasn't really cold, but it still got that chilly vibe and you know, winter is coming so you better get your sweater game on! (Bought: Zara, City Centre One East, Zagreb, 270 kn/40 $) Yellow Open-knit Sweater 'Cuz it's toooo coooold for you heree (okay sorry), I just liked this sweater so much that I had to buy it, lovely autumn yellow color just makes this sweater so much better and nicer to wear. (Bought: Zara, City Centre One East, Zagreb, 155 kn/23 $) Chelsea Boots So, I had this argument with my mom about 2 weeks ago that I need some autumn boots, I really wanted HUNTER boots but since my mom is a HATER she bought me these chelsea boots instead, but that's okay, because chelsea boots are a big hit this season and these H&M ones will be perfect (at least until I talk my mom into buying me hunter boots hehehe). I would have to say that my favorite one is Intergalactic because it paints your water so deep blue and you have glitter all over your body and your tub and it truly is intergalactic! I love looking at other people accounts and just seeing what's happening in their own world. Finjak is one of my favourite coffee shops  to visit during fall and winter season because of its cozy and warm atmosphere. Its decor simply blew me away when I've first visited - from the crystal chandelier to the wooden industrial stools, the interior is on point. The fairy lights, vintage signs and the hanging bicycle add the extra touch of uniqueness to the place. This cafe also has an outdoor sitting area.

Even though the room is rather small, the mirrors on two sides optically enlarge the space. Also a good thing about Finjak is that if you're visiting for Christmas, Valentines Day or any other themed holiday, chances are you're gonna be pleasantly surprised next time you visit, whether it's just simple heartshaped balloons or something more. Furthermore, if you come early enough you might get your hands on mini croissants with your cup of coffee.

This year in Zagreb we had a lot of french related events, and one of them was this picnic that
me and Anja decided to go on and we absolutely loved it.

You could bring your own food and just chill on the grass and listen to beautiful french sansone, or you could buy your own food basket filled with wonderful french food!
The picnic started at 11 AM and fortunately we arrived little earlier and bought the food baskets and tried these awesome things. We had a carob and caramelised emery baguette, french liver pate with green pepper, quiche Lorraine, nicoise salad, brie cheese and forest fruits tart. Everything was absolutely lovely.

As for the overall experience, the feeling of laying on the grass and just imagining you're somewhere in Paris is unforgettable and magical (okay, maybe im blowing it out of proportion but we really had a nice time).

I hope there will be more of these "foreign country" themed picnics and I'm really looking forward to that,

 This summer, since I'm a senior now, we had our class trip to Greece. We rode in a bus all the way to San Marino, where we planned a short stop of max. 2 hours, but the weather wasn't on our side. Because of the rain,  I didn't get any great pictures, so I basically got wet and ruined my hair on the first day for nothing :(  Personally I think that if the weather was better, my impression of San Marino would have been much better. Next we drove to Ancona, Italy and boarded on a ship. We crossed the Adriatic Sea and got off in Igoumenitsa, Greece. The trip across the sea was pleasant and the cabin in the ship was quite spacious actually. Upon arriving in Greece, once again we boarded into our bus and drove all the way to Kalambaka. It's a charming small town, with a lot of cute shops and caffes. We also went to see the Meteora monasteries, which were build on top of really weirdly shaped mountains. We spent the night in Kalambaka, and in the morning we drove to the cult place called Delphi. The vibe of that place felt magical - it still feels surreal to say I've walked on the same ground the grand priestess Pythia once did. I was absolutely gutted I couldn't find the temple  in Delphi I was looking for, but the climb all the way to the top in the noon was definitely worth the view anyways. In the evening, we arrived at the hotel in Athens and the neighborhood where we were stationed was only two km from Acropolis but it still looked awful and shady. I must say that I didn't dare to go out in Athens at night, but the following day my impression changed completely. The center of Athens is really beautiful and clean, no need to mention how stunning Parthenon and Erechtheion were. We had a free afternoon, which I've spent shopping in the main street in Sephora, Tiger, ForgetMeNot (the coolest authentic souvenir shop in Athens!) and of course Starbucks. The next morning, we were on the road again, driving for almost the whole day to Loutraki. It's a touristic destination positioned in the center of the bay, with beautiful sand beaches. The place itself was really ordinary and the hotel food was awful as it was in every greek hotel we've stayed in so far. The sea was quite cold, but in the night it seemed to spark because of the plankton concentration. We stayed there for two days and then we had a flight back to Zagreb. I must say it was the worst airport I've seen - it reminded me of a prison a little bit.

Even though it wasn't completely perfect, it was more beautiful than I could ever imagine - this trip felt like 'dream coming true' moment for a kid in me. I had lots of fun with my friends, we made a lot of stupid and beautiful memories together in Greece, and I'm immensely grateful for every second spent in the land of Zeus, Poseidon and Hades.

At the street of Jurja Žerjavića you will find a new place to hang out with your friends. It used to be a regular backyard but it has been turned into a colorful and a quirky cafe.
The nicest part of this cafe would definitely be colorful grafitti walls and pretty tables and chairs. The walls give an original touch to the atmosphere of the place and at night you can enjoy the warmth of fairy lights.

Cafe u Dvorištu offers everything your usual cafe offers, but i'ts most popular drink is the homemade ice tea.

Fine Torte is a cute pastry shop located in the centre of Zagreb (Vlaška 31), with a direct view on a statue of August Šenoa - one of the most popular writers in Croatia.

The first thing you notice about this place is a lovely patio with hot pink tables and matching chairs decorated with cute plants. The interior is very bright and open, decorated with gray and muted pink tones with marble tables.

The shop offers a large variety of cakes, from delicious chocolate cakes to light and fluffy fruit cakes. You can also order tea, coffee or freshly squeezed juices. We personally tried vanilla raspberry cake that is called "Ledeni vjetar" which was pretty tasty and light, as for the drinks we had coffee and tea (you can't go wrong with those things, right?).

A nice and warm atmosphere ideal for catching up with your friends and family.

For month of July I've been really into yellow and when I saw this tee, I absolutely knew I had to had it. I bought it in size bigger than my usual to get that baggy fit I wanted.

Since I'm naturally tan, I love the contrast on my skin that I get when wearing all white outfits and these white lace shorts have been my wardrobe staple during these past weeks.

Milano black leather sandals
My dad and I share a big love for the brand Birkenstock - I've had their sandals and slippers ever since I was a little child - and naturally when official Birkenstock store opened in Zagreb, I had to go and grab me some new sandals. They're absolutely the most comfortable shoes I've ever wore -  I didn't get any blisters even though I've walked for hours in them the first day I got them.

Maybelline COLOR TATTOO in shade Metallic Pomengranate
The colour of this gel eyeshadow is extremly buildable and has a lot of shimmer to it. Also, the packaging is so huge, I feel like it's going to last me for forever. They way I like to wear it is just lightly put it all over my lids and then blend with blending brush to prevent any harsh lines. The colour is perfect for anyone with dark brown eyes, and I find it very flattering also for my skin and hair colour.

Yellow nail polish
I actually wore all different shades of yellow for this past month, so there isn't just one nail polish I can include. You can say that I've become a little bit yellow-obsessed, but it's just a phase mom.

During the whole month, I've only wore this bad boy in shade Heartbreak 602 which is a beautiful coral pink.

1Q84 - Haruki Murakami
This books has been sitting on my bookshelf for ages and I finally got around to actually reading it. It's a trilogy, each book has about 350 pages, but once you start reading it, you just can't stop. Haruki Murakami has a quite unique way of writing, combining the elements of real and surreal, which makes any reader wonder what's going to happen next.

Iceberg perfume - Tender White (it was a birthday gift)
This perfume is the perfect summer scent - it opens with a fruity blend of raspberry, grapefruit and pink pepper, and then develops in a light floral and sweet notes of rose, honeysuckle and vanilla. The flacon is made of glass and it is shaped with 'broken' sides, in iridescent shades from transparent icy blue to matter white, imitating the look of icebergs.

Channing Tatum, do I need to add anything else? But in all seriousness, this movie is so fun to watch with your friends and it is my honest recommendation.

So, last year Anja and me decided to take a 'friendship trip' every spring break from then on and that decision brought us to Prague and Vienna this year!

My mother organized the trip so obviously we also went with her (HI MOM).
We left Zagreb at 5 AM from the main bus station and had a pretty pleasant bus ride with an amazing tour guide! At around 1 PM we arrived to Vienna and since it was freezing cold we immediately hopped to the nearest Starbucks and got a cup of some hot cocoa and of course some chocolate chiped cookies. After a cozy warming up, we decided to visit the St. Stephen's cathedral in the centre of the city and when we were finished with the church touring it was shopping time! We visited Forever21 and some random record stores,  but unfortunately we didn't have time for proper shopping since we had to continue our trip to Prague.

We arrived to Prague at 7 PM and immediately went to the hotel. Our hotel room was gorgeous, it was a big white room with big windows and a great view on the city. I have to mention that I was hungry the whole day and no grocery shops were open, so I was basically starved the first day, but oh well.

The second day we got up at 8 AM and had our breakfast at the hotel and after the breakfast the tour guide took us to the St. Vitus cathedral which was glorious (from the inside and from the outside). After the cathedral we decided to take some alone time, took a taxi and we spent the day in the Palladium shopping centre where we bought a lot of make up products and clothes (mostly in TOPSHOP). ONCE AGAIN I was starving the whole day because we had lunch at a traditional Czech restaurant and I was pretty sad because I didn't like the food. (im soooo sorryyy). We got back to our hotel at 9 PM and went straight to bed.

The third day we grabbed some coffee at Costa and visited MAC, we had lunch at Burger King, spent the day walking around the city and we got to watch the Astronomical Clock show which was pretty cool! As for the dinner, we actually had dinner at a boat which was floating on the Vltava river and that was an extraordinary experience and we absolutely loved it.

The fourth day (also the last day) we basically spent packing and saying goodbye to Prague and on our way home we visited the Krumlov State Catle. We tried Trdelnik which is a Slovak/Czech sweet pastry filled with chocolate and it was A-mazing! All in all, a very cute knight-like experience. When we arrived in Zagreb, we couldn't wait for another spring break. Any suggestions where we should go next year?
